Default anyone know what this is called

this part broke on my truck seat. Dodge sell the whole seat base for 900 bucks, I think something uses this or I should be able to find one like it. kinda of a spring driveshaft. Asking in different forums to see if I can get lucky and someone knows something about them. its about 6 in long in total. I am going to attempt to get this one welded or glued. I tried solder but I could not get it to build up like I needed.

That is the drive cable for one of the seat functions. The cable is twisted and tweaked because part of the mechanism it drives has failed.

Like said above, that is a drive cable, much like the old speedometer cables. Best bet is the gear box it attaches to or the seat track has failed causing this drive cable to wind up and break. If your lucky it broke in a position that you can be comfortable in, just in case you dont want to fix.
