Alternator ticking

Alternator ticking
i had been hearing a ticking from my alternator area on my 01 grand cherokee limited. i just had a new alternator put in but still here the ticking. i think it is coming from the connectors behind it and when it ticks the radio skips. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
