Air Conditioner/Heater
Ok so I just got a 93 Laredo. the switch for the AC/Heater selector just seems to spin and doesn't do anything. apparently the previous owner just put in a toggle switch for on/off but i think its for defrost only. What could be wrong and how hard/expensive is it to replace?

Welcome to CF. You have to replace the heater control panel with the ***** on it, as they're not available separately, and the panel isn't cheap as a new part. Try and find it at a salvage yard. That's probably why the PO rigged it up that way.
