My 96 jgclaredo was in a no start mode. The conclusion (best guess) was the computer was bad. I ordered a reman from Ace Computer Exchange .com for $184.00. It took 5 days and I have to say I am impressed. It started up and the only problem was the tranny didn't shift right. I called them and they shipped another comp no ?s asked. Replaced it and still had the same problem. I dug into the archives here and found it might be the TV cable needed adjusting. Bingo! Got it adjusted and it now shifts good. I think the ole boy that replaced the rear main engine seal has the cables and lines routed haphazardly and I can't get the adjustment right on. I'll deal with that soon. Just wanted to get it on the record that acecomputerexchage.com is a reputable company and they went beyond the call. Just to make sure the comp was bad I reinstalled the old comp and it still was a no start. The difference I noticed was the cel was on with old comp and the cel went off with new. It didn't have any codes to tell me what the cel since the computer was out. After installing I did have to let the key on sequence complete before it would start a couple of times. Now it starts when I quickly turn it over from off to start. No waiting. Now on to the next mission. Thanks for all the help. BTW return shipping paid.
