Is it normal on an 02 WJ for the center vents to blow significantly harder than the other vents? There are no vents in the back either. The only thing I can think of is.... maybe it's designed this way to help get the air to the back seat.

^X2. It does have rear seat vents though. Look under the front seats, near the center hump in the floor by the seat belt anchors. Those plastic things are the rear heat/AC vents. It's easy to block/damage them. Air only comes out of them when the selector allows floor air though. If you select ac/heat from only the upper dash vents, or defrost, the rear floor vents are useless.

 

I'll have to have a closer look, I've never noticed those. I have the Laredo which is the most basic version I believe.

 

Ok I found the vents, they are right under the front seats, on the floor in the middle of each seat. Kind of weird.

 

Yeah, I know. They put out heat better than AC, but it's still better than nothing.
