AC Delco or MOPAR Water Pump?
Both have American made bearings, AC 2 year warranty and half the price of MOPAR. The one in my 2000 WJ 158k is stock as far as I can tell. I have never had an aftermarket pump last longer than 5 years.

Either will be fine, and I'd go with the cheaper option. I don't believe in running water pumps until they die and replace them as a maintenance item.

I have owned the Jeep 5 years and the only thing I have to go on to determine the water pumps age is that the "patina" of the water pump matches the alternator, and I know the alternator is stock. 18 years out of a water pump, if I am correct. I have never gotten more than 5 out of any aftermarket rebuild. I have to do a coolant change so I'm going to replace the pump when I have the block drained. The rest of the cooling system is 2 years old. MOPAR pumps are twice the price and I don't know if my experience is typical or I'm just lucky.
