I'd either go with blower motor, or given the fact it's either a WK or JK, I'd check the blend doors.

X2 is could be the motor to the blend doors that controls the direction of flow. Any change if you switch it from vent to floor?

If it is those doors it's a pretty good indication of a vacuum leak

I think they're controlled by electric servo motors on the later models.

No matter what its set on, it goes off unexpectedly. And the tone of the noise changes to a lower pitch when its on heater.

To my understanding I thought blend doors effect the hot and cold air circulation. I don't have any problems with hot or cold air coming out. They work just fine.

Is there something that doesnt seem to work right? Does the noise change speed with the blower motor speed?

There are different actuator motors for different functions, so see if you air changes from vent, floor and defrost properly. If the noise changes with blower speed its probably the blower motor or something hung up in the blower wheel.

Where's the blower wheel located. I know jack squat about any cars! But I'm trying. So far I haven't broken anything, doing good pretty good for a girl on training wheels ay lol

Have you heard the sound I posted??? The air is coming out fine. It's just that weird noise.
