Got a friend that got this recently and every so often the gauges drop to 0 and it looks like this. It still runs, so far, but who knows for how long. They do come back up. Some times quickly some times not so quick. Here's what it looks like when they go out.

I've had that happen only once and I hammered the top of the dash with my fist. They came back up and it hasn't happened since. I'm thinking loose connection in the guage cluster.
Ran a scanner on it and found a P1686 SKIM Bus issue. It's the original key so who knows.
