99 problems ....
Okay, I finally got my 95 Jeep ZJ running after being down with transmission problems. When I put it all back together, I found that one side of the exhaust has a dent. I started it up and she "roars" (she never did that before.) And now, when I'm driving her, she seems like she's not going into gear right away, she jumps just before she does, I have to give her gas whenever I'm stopped, and I have to put her in Neutral and play with the gas at the same time (something I used to do when I had a stick, not an automatic ). I'd hate to think that this transmission is going out too, but I'm starting to think so. Any ideas??? Perhaps she can't "breathe" ... idk I'm at a loss...thanks!

There are a couple of things you can check. Check and adjust your trans kick-down cable. If it's out of adjustment it will cause delayed or premature shifting. Also check your IAC (idle air control) for sticking and all your vacuum lines for cracked elbows or cracks in the hoses.
Whatever caused that dent in the exhaust may have broken a weld somewhere.
