99 jeep chreokee fuel issue
Ok, fuel pump has no fire going to it, switched relay with another, nothing, took a wire finding hot wire and a non ground, stuck wire in with relay and had fuel. What sensor would cut the signal to the relay on and off? Whatever it is is keeping fuel pump from turning on. Without my jumper wire there is no fire to the pump. In addition with the jumper wire the jeep still will not start. Figured a sensor might kill it all. What do you think? 4.0 motor btw fuse is good under the hood.

I already checked the fuses under the hood. Also this diagram does not show location of anything fuel related. You might have looked up the wrong one. 99 jeep grand Cherokee 4.0. The relay that was marked as fuel pump I had found, pulled and swapped with another relay that was right beside it. Still did not work. I took a jumper wire and jumped across the relay by wire and then putting relay back on top of it. THEN I had fuel to the rail but still would not start. Being there are four relays, one marked starter, wiper, and something else, same relays as the fuel relay, I swamped them around. Does not seem to be a relay issue or fuse. Power going tho the relay but no further. Is there a sensor that also communicates to relay ?

You might be on to something, I will check that asap. I noticed when I did have fuel running to the fuel rail that it still would not crank so it sounds like we might have found the issue, I will let you know. Thanks by the way
