Hey Guys, Saw a thread few days to week ago asking about headlight assembly for 98 XJ, and someone mentioned they were looking for Projector Headlights. Found these on Amazon, wasn't real sure about them but figured i would give them a shot. Not disappointed considering they were about $175 for the pair. Halos are LED, could be a little brighter but i like them. The projector headlights are AWESOME, Very Bright, Easy to adjust and the whole assembly looks great.... See Below.. Also added Euro taillights with LED's. Really like the look of the headlights, and at least twice as bright as stock lenses....
They are very good, UNLESS you are on the receiving end of them! I think the Feds made a big mistake allowing HID or LED headlights to be allowed in this country. Halogen Quartz on a good relay system should be sufficient for street use. Also, the use of LED light bars on the road should result in a stiff fine! You can have any kind of lighting you want, as long as you're not coming the other way in my opinion. Once upon a time, I got a ticket for 60w incandescent sealed beam headlights in my 76 Datsun because that's the way it came from Japan! Times have certainly changed.
The best thing I ever saw for headlights was while I was in the UK driving a 1980 Triumph sedan. It had a control **** on the dash to aim the headlights, up for country, down for city. Not just a beam change, but an actual aiming change.
