XJ LED headlights? Yes please.
So, I got incredibly tired of not being able to see. Headlights are far to weak for the trails. So, got some LED headlights from Amazon $70
They seem to be good quality, plug and play. Took me 10 minutes to install.

Comparison of old light and new. Ahhhh bye bye yellow.
This is strange. Only running lights are on. These headlights produce almost a DRL light with the ignition on. Not sure why. Anyone know?

A friend had those lights and the only complaint he had was they yellowed after a year.
Another member here had one set "snowflake" up (small fracture pattern on lens) after the same time as well.

I have a set and they are OK, but they are going to be replaced soon with Trucklites.
They are no doubt brighter, but the light has no direction and no cutoff, so it is brighter to oncoming drivers than a properly built headlight.
I rarely drive my jeep at night, but when I have, I have never gotten flashed by oncoming drivers, but is probably still annoying.

I have directed the lights downward and inward to hopefully avoid blinding oncoming drivers. This Jeep is a 3rd vehicle, I hardly drive it. Only when I'm going out in the trails or if I need to take my dog somewhere lol

There is a thread on XJ Talk where he made a resistor to dim the lights at will so they are not as bright in the city to oncoming drivers.

I've been testing various sets for a friends lighting company. So not all of mine are DOT legal, some are E-codes/offroad only. (I live in FL, we have no inspections here)

Iv now had these headlights for a couple years... I actually made a post about them that got pretty popular. They will fade until you can't even tell thst your headlights are on unless they are on brights. It's a sealed enclosure but the polyurethane lens becomes foggy from the inside out. Loved these lights at first. Now I wish I had never waisted my money.
