I just picked up a 98 grand Laredo. I have a few issues to make this thing right. I have no power going to the liftgate. the lower latch works, but the switch for the rear glass and license plate lights don't work. I found a black line that runs down the lower door sil behind the moulding. I don't know if this is for the rear lights or if there was a CD changer in it. it does have the infinity gold stereo. I also do not have any dome lights. the interior lights on the sides do work.

can anyone point me in the right direction? I have checked fuses visually and with a test light.

 

Take off back panel by taillights on the inside and look at all those wires. I had a horseshoe in there that was causing my brake lights and park lights not to work.

 

I forgot to say.. I have had the tailgate panels off. I have not taken the ones off behind the wheel wells.
