Default 98 Grand Cherokee shut off while driving, will not start

Ok, so I'm driving home from work friday night and my jeep just shuts off. I have it towed home and start from there. Jeep has gas and fuel pump is working. I have no spark so I replaced the coil, distributer pickup, rotor, and cap. Still nothing, so I replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor today, still nothing won't start. Any suggestions?

Try gently pushing on the harness plugs where they connect to the computer, underhood on firewall passengers side. This is common on ZJ's..

Check the ground from batt terminal to the inner fenderwell. This one got me, same symptoms.

Problem fixed... Ya it was plugged in, maybe not all the way. I unplugged it and plugged it back together, was about to hook the code scanner up again figured I'd try and start her and she started right up. Thanks for all the input tho

Had this same problem, replaced everything, still would shut off, would always eventually crank up. Turned out to be the wire harness on the computer. Now every time it shuts off on me I'll take of the connectors, clean good with electronic spray, reconnect and put tie-wraps around each connector to hold them on tight. It's not a permanent job but it works.
