Default 98 5.9 zj

So my buddy and I got in alittle fire that charred the zj front alittle but a lot and the harness looks different from a dodge 1500 5.9 that I pulled from a yard. For anyone know where I can buy a harness for a 5.9 zj? It has all the little things like sunroof and heated seat and all this so I want it to be the right harness for all that to work

You'll have to find a harness from a 98 5.9 ZJ with all those options and chances of that are slim.

I'm having trouble deciphering the original post..

I believe (might wanna verify) that the Dodge RT 5.9's use the truck engine.. meaning starter are on opposite sides of the block. That would eliminate them as harness donors.

I'm thinking what you probably need is the engine compartment harness from firewall connector? Search Craigslist, plenty of Niners being parted.

5.2L donor vehicle should work also?

So here's some pics for you guys... was not a fire with the jeep it was in a garage that caught fire and we pulled it out as fast as we could but it caught fire. And the fire crew sprayed it off and they sprayed the inside...98 5.9 zj-photo482.jpg98 5.9 zj-photo166.jpg98 5.9 zj-photo113.jpg98 5.9 zj-photo718.jpg98 5.9 zj-photo984.jpg

Nice toast you got there! I'd say that's a total loss. Really!

So would a 98 5.2 limited harness work for my Jeep? I need some answers lol. People need to get there hopes up and stop being so down. The rebuild will work no matter what I have to do. It will drive again. I'm willing to do anything...

You can repair it, but you're into a huge job! This is going to require major surgery and transplants. You really need a donor 5.2 or 5.9 jeep. Blown motor, bad trans, or rusted frame, doesn't matter as long as the wiring is intact.
