First time this happen, it popped a fuse. Replaced the fuse, fired back up. Tonight i was driving down the block then i got up to a stop sign as i was slowing down then it just died and wouldn't start back up. Before it died. i noticed a miss or something. Anyone help me and tell me where to start looking. Im new to working on these jeeps if advice would be much appreciated!!!
Okay it shot another fuse again. Replaced the fuse and it is running again. Any reason why it would be blowing the fireing fuse? Someone said maybe a bad ground? Please help! Just bought this jeep would love to be able to drive it.......

What fuse is it blowing?
Without knowing what fuse it is I would start by looking at the wiring harness of the O2 sensors and crank shaft sensor its not uncommon for those to be routed near the exhaust and if any of them have a worn or melted spot they could be grounding out.

I took apart the distrubiter cap, and looked there. one of the wires had a cut in it. taped it up. and now its not blowing the 20 amp fuse that controlls the fireing before i done this. i would make it 2 ft from my parking spot it would blow the fuse. After doing the taping to the wires. i drive it around the block a few times and it seems to be running fine now. I even ran me another ground wire. cause i couldnt find one on the motor anywhere.
