Is there anything besides the shift cable that must be disconnected from automatic trans before removing the engine and trans in one piece from 1997 Grand Cherokee 4L? I have disconnectred everything I can see that attaches the engine and trans to the body except this shift cable.

 

stick a jack under the crossmember and lower it down... youll be able to see the top of the tranny easily to make sure you got everything...
