96 GC Loredo Camshaft Position Sensor
This may be a stupid question, but i'm looking to replace my camshaft position sensor. I have checked with Auto Zone and O'rielly's, and they dont list just the sensor. Do I have to buy the whole distributor just to replace a $15.00 part? or is there somewhere else i can go to get the part?

Seems like when I needed one o-reillys wanted to sell the whole dist, but autozone could get just the cam sensor. You might dig around a little more, maybe try another parts store or even a different person to look it up.

Some call it a pick up coil. HTH I have anew one if interested. Near Dallas Tx

Aha! thank you for that. I found it at both autozone and o'riellys.. although it's a bit more that 15....but i need it yesterday ...thanks for the offer to sell me one...lets hope this works

Glad I could help. I had to go thru the hoops to learn that. Round trip of 60 miles so they could hand me a crank shaft pos sensor. No cam pos sensor in stock. (%^( Oh, thats called a dist pick up coil! I hadn't heard anyone call it that. Good luck
