Trying to find why my 96 GC Laredo will not get fire to the plugs. Mechanic says there is no signal to the coil. He thinks the computer is bad. He traced the wires and checked good. This happened suddenly after changing the crankshaft positioning sensor, rotor, and dist cap. Any suggestions on how to verify the computer is bad? TIA

I don't know about the computer, but i'd double check the parts you replaced just before it lost the signal to the coil.

 

Check the cam sensor (under the distributor cap).

 

That part was replaced as well. I'll check to see that it is connected good.
