Exclamation 96 Cherokee V8, extreme engine vibration

About 4 months ago i had to replace my water pump, i replaced it and everything has been running normal since then.

Today on my way to school i drove maybe about a mile and my engine started to vibrate like crazy. I started to lose power and it started to sputter, i sputtered into a parking lot and i noticed my check engine light was flashing on and off and then my car shut off.

I waited a second, started it up again to the same extreme engine vibration and sputtered into a parking spot. Once parked i tried to start it again and the same exact thing happened.

In the past i've noticed little vibrations but i just figured they were normal, today it went to a whole new level. It was like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Can anyone help?!?!
