Check into changing your front shafts to CV joints. Might be cheaper and easier than a t-case change. The 242 case is the simplest internaly and IMO the most reliable. You'll have to do the research on transmission and driveshaft spline count to find out which donor car to look for, and don't forget to take the shifter too.
