It has been a long time since I have been on here, But I figured this was the place to get my answer.
I just bought a 93 Grand with the V8 motor. Been driving it since November, ran great until it started have intermittent start issues. It has had this problem about 4 times and now It seems to be perminant haha.
I have searched the threads and checked a bunch of stuff, but no one seems to write what the problem ended up being.
I have checked the fuses, checked the tailgate security, which a couple of times seemed to do the trick, slam the gate shut and the thing would start and run fine for a couple of days.
I tried to check for codes by turning on and off the key, but the light doesnt flash.
I have cleaned the ECM connector. and checked the other connectors in the harness.
I don't think its the CPS since it was intermittent, tell me if I'm wrong.
I have used starting fluid and still no fire.
Any help would be greatly appreciated before I tear into this thing.....

How are the battery cables? Have you tried cleaning them
