My 93 grand cherokee blower motor stopped working. I bought a resistor from a junk yard a swapped it out after talking to the previous owner. It still doesn't work.. you can feel cold air barely coming out when driving but nothing else. Could it be the control switch or do I need a new blower motor? Any help is appreciated.

It could be the resistor that came from a junkyard. Does it have any speeds?

No. It only worked on high before... now it doesn't blow at any speed or setting

Put power directly to the blower motor and see if it spins, and check the fuse too.

Chrysler has had some problems with the resister plug melting. Make sure you still have good contact thru the plug.
