Default '93 ABS Issue

shortly after i had done a complete brake job, pads, shoes, new rotors, new wheel cyls, bled...

i start getting what one shop guy called 'unwanted ABS'. this is when i get almost stopped in a normal manner then the abs kicks in for no reason.

also while on forest roads creeping in 1st gear high it would do it without me even hitting the brakes. grrrrr!!

so, i pulled the relay which seemed to make things better and i can tolerate the dash light but now while i come to a stop, the abs components seem to keep me rolling until i clamp down to a stop. this is not good.

maybe try a new relay? the fuse looked ok.

anyone else dealt with this?

Same problem, removed all relays and fuses for ABS, no more light or problem stopping :-) I have new ABS sensors that i will try when i get time, but i dont think thats the problem.

2 relay, 2 fuses under the hood, 1 fuse inside the car (door).

I was having the same issue so I did what you did and removed all the relays and fuses but would it be an issue if I run my jeep without the fuses and relays for a bit?

I have used it without the relays and fuses for 1 year, no problem, the only "problem" is that you dont have ABS
