Default 93 5.2 abs break light

My abs break light is on in my jeep and I took it to pep boys but they don't do abs so they said I have to go to a break specialist. Could anyone give me possible reasons as to why the light would be on?

Could be a wheel speed sensor, a bad connection at a wheel speed sensor, anything. You need to see what the code is as a starting point. The ABS diagnostic plug in under the ashtray tucked under the carpet, you'll need a scan tool to see what the code is.

No, the vehicle speed sensor is in the tailshaft housing on the transfercase.

Ok, I think I need to replace mine, my speedometer works every now and then, and I was told I needed a new speed sensor
