Default 4 wire oxygen sensor colors?

Well, some fellow (more than likely a jobless drug addict) decided to crawl under my wife's jeep and hacksaw the catalytic converter for $25 dollars worth of scrap.

Anyhow, they yanked the 02 with it, plug and all. I have the replacement parts, but I don't know which two are the heater wires and which is the signal (ground shouldn't be too hard to figure out)

This is a 97 ZJ, Any help would be fantastic.

Thanks,

RC

Damn, man, that really blows!! I'm sorry to hear that!

I don't know the colors or anything, but can't you just plug it back in? or did they take both plugs?

both male and female plug. Looks like they just yanked after the cat was loose.

Guy, go to a junkyard and cut out a piece of harness, then just match up the wires!

That would seem like an easy solution, but it wouldn't resolve my problem.

I still have the wires hanging down for the 02, so no worries there. The issue is, the replacement 02 is a wire in. Yes I could go grab another plug, but I think I will just use a molex as I have them handy and provide good connections.

It has a Black wire for signal, grey for ground, and purple and white for the heater.

The zj has a green/red, black/white, black/red and black/... green I think. Can't remember now.

Hopefully someone may know the color code. Like I said, ground isn't too hard to find, but the rest, I don't really know.
