4 wheel still not working

its a 99 with Quadra drive I checked the differential no eaten up gears or anything. Its only the left side and I even changed out the axle its like it grinds on the left side like if the axle were broken what else could it be I'm so lost. I did change the differential and its still doing it

if that were the case it wouldn't be getting any power to the front wheels I've had that problem a few transfer cases ago. Is there any way the clicking is the wheel bearing cause it seems the last plausible explanation that I can think of.
