4.0 engine compatability

4.0 engine compatability
My question is, are the 4.0 engines the same for a 2wd and 4wd? I have a worn out 93 4wd GC and have found a 93 2wd with a better 4.0. Is swapping a problem for the bolt pattern of the trans?
