Default 3" BB , shocks and spacer. Anything else needed ?

So I have been doing research on here and I am kind of confused after reading and getting different asnwers...

I want to do a 3" BB. I currently sit at stock height but have brand new shocks that can support up to 3.5'' lift. I also just added 245/75/16 and I am barely clearing the fenders.

Other than the spacers and shocks do I need to change anything else ? I saw some people were mentioning the track bar. Is that really needed ? any help appreciated !

I am not looking to invest thus the reason I am looking into the spacers...

I'm not an expert, but I'm sure bumping this will help get you one in here haha.

From my understanding, a 3" BB shouldn't need much more than what you mentioned. That isn't to say that you couldn't end up needing more should you encounter Death Wobble or other issues.

But from what I've read a 3" BB and shocks should do you fine. Are you talking the 3" spacers all around or the Front to Rear spring swap BB?

You shouldnt need anything else than what you have mentioned but getting a track bar wouldnt hurt either. I am currently running a 3" BB spacers all the way around and I didn't even get new shocks, yes I plan on it but it wasnt needed either

A 3" BB is a very bad idea. It is not safe at all. A 2" spacer is the most that any sane person would recommend for your vehicle.

What is unsafe about a 3" BB, any taller yes and I would say that it isnt safe but I dont see whats wrong with a 3"

I think with anything higher than 2in spacer you could run the risk of flexing it out too much and dropping your spring out of the perch. But that is my opinion, I had the 2in spacers then jumped to Zone 4in lift kit, better idea IMO.

I have 4.5" zone. I had RC 4" on YJ before. I like the attention to detail on their lift. I would recommend it.

Mine was $475 (nitro shocks incl) and $350 labor.

I got zone shocks only, on a 4 inch lift. Absolutly love their shocks, hope there complete lift kit is just as good.
