Hey guys, got a question about my 94 ZJs 249 tcase. When in 4 full time my Jeep slips when accelerating, BAD. I mean it barley moves. I jacked it up and checked my axles and drive shafts and everything looks good. By this point I am assuming my transmission is the issue. Then I put it in 4low, and no slippage. Does this sound like my VC in my POS 249? Was gonna do a 231 swap later, but now I might have to do it sooner. Just wanna narrow it to the tcase before removing it.

 

a bad VC wouldnt cause slipping, it would just feel like you are in 4LO when doing tight turns at a low speed.
