245/70R17 to 255/75 R17??
If I put 17" stock wheels from a 2015 Wrangler (255/75R17) on a 2012 Grand Cherokee (presently has stock 245/70 R17 with 40k miles) -
Will they stick out more or less and what will this do as far as extra strain on my tranny, etc.?
Wheels are take offs, 5 for $400 with only 600 miles on them.
Thanks
Frank

Welcome to CF!
The difference in width shouldn't matter much (10mm) but the diameter and wheel back-spacing might. You'll have to do the math on that and check your stock back-spacing compared to the Wrangler wheels.

The offset on your 2012 WK2 is 56.4mm. Go to wk2jeeps.com to learn anything you could possibly need to know about your jeep.
