I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee Laredo with 127,000 mile on it. Today while driving it would not downshift automatically when stopped at a stop sign. When accelerating it would only take off in drive. I tried manually downshifting and the transmission, but it would not leave drive. I drove it home like this not far maybe 5 miles. When I got home I put it in park shut, shut it off and started it back up. Took it around the block and everything was working fine. Anyone with any ideas of what caused this to happen or if anyone knows what repairs may be needed please let me know. No lights came on the dash indicating any problems either. Thanks
