Need assistance with emergency brake cable.
Handle comes up all the way without resistance. Can hear clicks
I look off panel on back end of console and cable is attached to handle.
Single cable disappears into floor. Two cables emerge from the deck above the driveshaft under the vehicle.
Local Jeep parts guy sent me a diagram which shows where one cable splits into two with a T joint.
From where is this joint accessible? Underneath shows no removable panel.
Is is necessary to take out the back seat and the rug to uncover this joint?
Any held would be greatly appreciated and thank you.

 

You should be able to see the cable under the vehicle and there is an adjustment where the cable splits.

There is no adjustment exposed under the vehicle
This has me stumped and I am thinking that the carpet needs to be cut out which seems quite crazy
