I went to hit the alarm on my Grand cherokee and nothing works. Open close panic all dead, I changed batteries in remote same thing, used the spare remote same thing. So when I shut the car the headlights continue to go off by themselves ( set that way) except for the interior lights which stay on. They stay on for at least 5 minutes then shut off. Any idea what this is?

I did have frayed wires in the driver door which a few months back which left me with the interior lights never going off but the remote still opened the car.

Could it be passenger door?
