I had the rear brakes done by the mechanic, failed inspection my fault did not check first. Anyway the pads a rotors were replaced about a month ago, I looked today at the rear brakes and I see the metal clip that holds the pad on was rubbing metal to metal on the brake hub, hub has a groove worn on it now. I put a new metal clip on and had to bend it some to stop it from hitting the brake hub, Is the brake hub not to specs, chinese rotors ?
