Default 2002 grand cherokee NO START issue

messing with this wire under the car will cause it to start. what is the easiest way to repair this and what part do i need to order if any. i'm thinking maybe i could just repair the wires but i would like a real fix rather then a rigged fix.

I can't tell from the picture where it's located or what it's attached to. A little more info or more pics would be nice.

A rigged fix is a real fix.

What ever it is, you're going to have to cut and splice wires anyway. It looks like the wire is broken inside the insulation at the plug. You can get a new plug from a dealer or cut one out of a junkyard, but you'll have to know what it's for to buy one. I doubt it's for the NSS because that's screwed into the side of the transmission near the pan on the driver's side.
