Default 2001 Jeep coil pack testing

I have a 2001 Jeep CHER 4.o, with no fire in number 6 cyl. I pulled the coil pack and removed boot to number 6, I put a good ground wire stud next to spring and cranked engine no spark. All other cyl works fine. I do not want too buy coil pack and turns out to be something else. Is there a coil relay or
distributor module.

Welcome to CF!

The coil pack has 3 coils that fire 2 cylinders at the same time. #1 and #6 fire together and are connected internally. If #1 gives you a spark, the conductor between #1 and #6 is open. If no spark on #1, the coil is either shorted to ground or has an open primary circuit. All the cylinders fire on the exhaust stroke as a means of reducing emissions.

If the cam sensor was bad, you would get no spark at all. You may have to buy a coil pack or try a junkyard one. If you want a new one, try rockauto.com for a reasonable price.

The coil fires #1, but fails to fire #6, so the coil for 1 and 6 fire, but has a break in circuit going to #6 IS that correct?

Yup. Coil pack failures are common on 4.0s. They tell me I'm lucky because my original 2000 still works fine. This is one of those places where a Mopar part would be best, however I trust Bosch because they are/were an original supplier to Chrysler.
