Default 2001 Grand Cherokee won't crank

I'm having the same problem with my 2001 Grand Cherokee, I understand the NSS and how to refurb it my question is does it still suppose to have fuel coming to the fuel rail or is that a different problem?

There is no refurbishing the NSS on a WJ, it's totally different from what an XJ has. Just replace it and make sure you have enough ATF to top the transmission fluid off when you're done. The switch is less than twenty bucks.

Start by making sure the battery and connections are good first.

I tried having the battery tested and the starter as well still no crank the only thing I haven't tried was the cam position sensor and the neutral safety switch if anyone has any insight please inform me.

The cam sensor won't cause a no crank issue.

The crank sensor won't cause a no crank issue either.

A tech guy told that because I have a problem with my gauges not communicating with the computer, no fuel to the fuel rail, and not cranking it must be a problem with the ECM, any input would be helpful thanks.

Get a new tech guy! There are only a few things in the cranking circuit. The battery, the battery cables, the ignition switch, the starter solenoid, and the starter. Try running a jumper wire from the battery post directly to the starter solenoid. That will bypass the ignition switch and NSS.

It could be the ignition switch itself.
