The air conditioner in my 01 grand cherokee is not working correctly and i hope someone here can help me figure it out. When I turn the car on, the air either runs or does not. If i reach under the passenger side dash and shake things around it runs, but only if i have it switched to high. If the switch is not on high, it sputters out quickly (sounds like a lawn mower running out of gas). After driving at interstate speed when i get into the neighborhood driving slow again it will sputter out on high. Has anyone else had this problem? I have read about blend air door problems but didnt think this fit the description.
