Solid lit CEL means there is an issue that will need attention sooner than later. A flashing CEL refers to a serious issue that needs immediate attention. Also will trigger 'limp mode'. Jeep should not be driven with a flashing CEL.
To retrieve codes, turn key on-off three times (do not engage starter), on third turn leave key in ON position, mileage will be replaced with codes. Be ready with pen and paper to copy.

Just off the top of my head, I'm guessing ignition misfire codes. Coil rail is the most likely cause.
