My 2000 grand cherokee 4.0 wouldn't start after work. No warning ! Turns over fine. I've got no spark and no fuel pressure.....I hear no sound at all comming from the fuel tank when key is turned. No pressure on the fuel rail. Checked all fuses......Checked the camshaft position sensor......it's working....battery good....Can the crankshaft position sensor kill spark and fuel? If so.....what's the best way to get at it? On top of the flywheel bell housing I think.....Would droping the tranny cross member a few inches work? .............I also heard that if I turn the key on 3 times and leave it on after the third time I would get a code........All I got was 3 chimes and a pause and then 3 more chimes and then the check engine light came on and stayed on......................I tried that a few times.
