cooling system
Ok i have a cooling system question...i went to the store tand my temp was about 210 came out in like 2 minutes and my temp was like 220 what would cause the temp to go up when the car is off

I never saw that. It could be a feedback from collapsing field. The gauge have small wire and when you turn the power off, the back current will temporary produce voltage, but that should not happen when you have resistor or diode to protect from feedback. I would not worry about unless your gauge stop working. 210-220 is OK.

195 to 210 is normal operating temp, your electric fan should come on at 213 or 215.When your jeep is off there is no flow so the temp will come up a bit.Once you start it back up the water will flow along with air flow to cool it.
