I have an issue with the stock alarm on my 2000 WJ that is driving me, and my neighbours, mad.
The alarm will go off at random times. Mostly at night.
When that happens i can use the key remote to swicth it of but that's only good until the next time.
Brought it to the local dealership twice who read (and wiped) the codes and checked the wiring but really didn't find any obvious causes.
Before I ask them to rip out and replace the whole alarm I wonder if any of the accumulated knowledge here can give me some tips.
Is there a way in which I can just disable the alarm?
