114k miles here and noticing this knock. It sounds kind of hollow as shown in the videos. How should I address this and what kind of problems could this be? Bought the car used and it made no noise a few days ago. Oil level is fine and looks pretty clean. The knock stays pretty much the same once the engine is warm. The sound doesn't seem to get louder when I increase the throttle. auto transmission

also I'll mention the noise is very faint from inside the car. While driving and heavy on the throttle I don't hear the noise and it accelerates smoothly

oil pressure idles around 40. When on the throttle it goes up a bit but stays at the same point until letting off the gas

Check the torque converter bolts and the flexplate for cracks before ripping into the engine.

 

the four bolts were tight and from what I saw, there were no cracks on the flex plate. I spun it all the way around and checked in as far as I could. This sound is exactly all the other flex plate issues on youtube I hear. going to listen to the flex plate tomorrow more with the engine running and go from there
