1999 Speedo calibration issue Superchips Flashpaq 3875
Ok I have read through all the post when I searched for SC Flashpaq 3875 and saw nothing pertaining to my issue. I purchased a used Flashpaq off of Ebay that luckily was not locked. I downloaded the Spark software and successfully updated the programmer. It has successfully connected to the ECM and I loaded a tune. I have recently lifted my WJ and want to calibrate the speedo however when I try with the programmer it tells me this option is not available because an ABS module is not detected. I called Superchips and the tech said it was due to the 1999 not having 4 wheel ABS. I have speed sensors on all 4 wheels and do believe it has 4 wheel ABS. Why is it giving me this message? Anyone else have this issue with there 1999 or have had success calibrating the speedo?

Are you sure they all hooked up and working and that is the correct programmer for your app. It would seem that they would know if it was the right one or not for your Jeep.
If unsure about the brakes get the build sheet and find out for sure about the ABS.

Yes it is the correct programmer 3875 for the Jeep WJ. They do have newer ones but cover newer models. I am hoping someone with a 1999 can confirm this can be done and maybe there is something wrong with the programmer or the software. Seems like they have had issues with the communication with the ECM at times when I read other forums but have not seen anything specific on the calibration. As far as the ABS, it does have 4 wheel ABS and has speed sensors at all 4 wheels. This is why I am confused as to what the tech at Superchips said regarding it not having 4 wheel ABS and that was the cause.

Just change the speedo gear in the transfercase. Here is a chart to help pick the right gear for your tire size and gear ratio. You can get the gears from Amazon for around forty bucks.
No fancy-pants tools needed. Simply replace your speedometer gear.
