1999 grand cherokee 4.0 front drive shaft

1999 grand cherokee 4.0 front drive shaft
ok so this gc has been a project of mine for about 5 months due to lack of funds...
but i finally got my tranny mount done cranckshaft senseor in and its running good. but i think that i have a broken driveshaft
so my driveline is strange i have what appears to be a cv joint on the transfer case and a single u joint on the diff side..and it looks like mabey it had the 2 cv joint set-up at one time and someone changed the front cv to a u joint or mabey its a factory thing but my ? is can i repair the cv joint on the tc or what can i do?
