no defrosters!

no defrosters!
so basically my control head unit that lets me adjust the all my air conditioning and heating wont let me choose any thing, besides blowing on my feet, i CAN adjust how much its blowing but i cant choose where, so i dont have any defrosters and its about that time of year when my windsheild fogs up the second i get in. I have tried yankin the thing out but it wont budge. i really have no clue what to do now

well i managed to get it out but now im not sure what to do, im think'in of trying to re solder the back of it like i did to my light switches

Engine: 12 hole bosch Injectors
your vents are controled by vacuum not electric find the vacuum canister and check for cacuum and all line to and from it
