Hi

I have the yellow warning light on my dash. It used to flick on and off but now stays on. Is this likely to be a actual fault with the sensor or something else? Until I can afford to fix it what number fuse can I pull out to get the glowing yellow indicator out of my face?
Thanks for any advise you have.

My '97 did/does the same thing......Easiest dash I have ever pulled out!! I then moved the bulb, which by the way was clearly marked, and holder to a spare spot which again was clearly marked on the back of the dash assembly. Took me a whole 10-15 minutes with nothing more then a phillips screwdriver from start to finish!!!

I guess I should say that this method isn't a fix and you probably really should have the ABS diagnosed...... Yeah right, works for me!!

Hi, thanks for your reply. would i have to take the whole dash out? Cluster cant be removed separately? Is there no fuse I could pull that would have the same effect?

Not sure how similar the '97 and '98 GC's are but all I did was remove the trim and the 3 or 4 screws from around the cluster, THEN there are only 4 phillips screws holding the cluster assembly in, remove them and the WHOLE cluster just pops out from the plug it's in. Flip it over and if it's just like mine you'll clearly see the bulbs are marked and how easy the job was.... I JUST did this to mine today.........

Rick

BTW, besides the phillips screwdriver take a pair of needle nose pliers too, 2 of the cluster screws are set in and ya might wanna grab them.....
