1996 rust? Worth fixing?

I have a 2011 Tacoma Trd sport, so I didn't need the car, it was just gonna be a beach/surf car.
I needed new tires
Still had to register it
And after calculating all the parts and tools I would have needed, it would have been near $1500. Not willing to put that into it. It's all good.
