help please
my 1996 jeep grand cherokee rear just went i was looking at the pictures above and it looks like i have a d44 but the drain plug is rubber?I was looking for part #s and found this 52070044 but i still dont know what rear end to buy i am going to buy it from a junk yard please help!

for the record not all V8 grands have D44, i have a 96 5.2 limited with a D35, from what i heard only a couple hundred v8 grands where made that year with a D35
also if you want to check for limited slip jack the rear end up put in in nuetral and spin one tire and if the other one spins the same direction its limited slip, i saw it on youtube so i dont know if thats a guarntee
